Your Wealth Will Feel EMPTY Without This...

Don't Make The Mistake That Many Do

Earners,

In the relentless pursuit of financial independence, we often focus on one thing: accumulation.

Accumulate assets. Accumulate skills. Accumulate opportunities. The idea is to hoard everything that could push you closer to your goal of ripping your family out of poverty and providing for your loved ones in a profound way. And that’s how it should be. We should be acquiring, acquiring and acquiring some more. Period.

But there’s something we often forget in the midst of this hustle. Something vital. While we’re busy amassing wealth and building our empires, we have to remember one thing: Give that s*it back. And not just someday in the future—give it back now.

Where We Get In Trouble

It’s easy to fall into the trap of absorbing everything we’ve earned. We think about investing every penny, growing our wealth as fast as we can, maximizing returns while we’re still young and hungry. The logic is sound: the sooner you get there, the longer you get to enjoy it.

But here’s the reality check—I’ve realized that’s not the full monty. You’ve got to kick it around. You’ve got to take care of other people, donate that money, and put it to good use, both now and in the future.

Here’s the deal: if you’re just hoarding wealth, waiting until you’ve "made it" to start giving back, you’re doing it wrong. I don’t think you should wait until you’re sitting on a mountain of cash to start making a difference. I think giving consistently throughout your life not only makes you feel richer—it absolutely does, trust me—but it also increases your happiness. Why wait to do good?

How To Practically Implement It

Do it selfishly if you want. Pay for your friends at dinner because it makes you feel good. There’s nothing wrong with that. The emotional kick you get from doing something generous? That’s a benefit, and there’s no shame in enjoying it. It’s like hitting the gym—you’re doing it for yourself, and that’s fine. It feels incredible.

No one has ever become poor by giving

- Anne Frank

I’ll tell you, one of my favorite things is when I can take my family out and cover the bill. Or when I paid for a trip to Europe for my family and handled pretty much all the expenses. It made me feel like a provider… like I’d made it. It’s this profound sense of satisfaction, knowing that all the hard work, all the sacrifices, are paying off in a tangible, impactful way.

Just start doing little acts of generosity throughout your life. I often like to get little gifts for people because I love the surprised look on their face when they get it. It feels wonderful. Doesn’t have to be expensive either - an example is I get my girlfriend a random chocolate bar sometimes when I go grocery shopping. It’s small and silly - but it’s awesome to do.

You don’t need to wait until you’re rolling in cash to give to local organizations, take care of the people around you, or support your community. You can do that right now. And you should. Because giving back, right now, makes the journey to wealth so much sweeter. If you keep working hard and smart, you’re going to get there anyway. It doesn’t matter if you donate today or share your wealth—if you’re doing all the right things, you’ll reach your goals. So why not enhance your life and give back along the way?

I’m constantly talking about accumulation—how to grow, how to get more, how to push forward. And yes, that’s what we should be focused on. But let me hammer this the hell home: Please, give back today, tomorrow, and the day after that. It will make you feel so much better, and it will enrich your journey in ways you can’t even imagine.

So, while you’re out there, hustling, grinding, and making your mark, don’t forget to look around and ask yourself, “How can I give back today?” Because in the end, it’s not just about what you accumulate. It’s about what you give that truly defines your legacy.
